Chhattisgarh Roller Skating Associationis a registered Society at the office of Registrar Firms and Society, Raipur under the Chhattisgarh Society Registration Act 1973 (44) with whole Chhattisgarh state Jurisdictions.

Chhattisgarh Roller Skating Association (CGRSA) is the only recognized body of Roller-Skating Federation of India (RSFI) in Chhattisgarh to handle the affairs of Roller Skating. RSFI in turn is recognized by Government of India and Indian Olympic Association. RSFI is also affiliated with Confederation of Asian Roller Sports and Federation Internationale de Roller Sports which are the two International Bodies looking after Skating in Asia and World.

Our Journey

  1. The group came in to function in the year 2002 and since then it has worked very hard to popularize Roller Sports amongst the children covering the age group of 3 years to 30 years.
  2. CGRSA is regularly organizing the State level Roller Skating Championships every year since 2003.
  3. Chhattisgarh Roller Skating team is participating National level competitions since 2004.
  4. Till now the association has trained around more than 900 students of different age groups (6 to 23 years) group in 11 districts of Chhattisgarh for the past 16 years.
  5. Skaters of Chhattisgarh Roller Skating Federation have won more than 120 medals by participating in international, national and state level competitions.
  6. CGRSA regularly organize advanced training camps for skaters.
  7. CGRSA has organize 27 summer camps for budding skaters.

Our Objectives

  1. To work for the diffusion of the theoretical and practical knowledge of the basic rules and laws of the healthy sport of Roller Sports for the benefit of all intending persons interested in raising the standards of Roller Sports in Chhattisgarh and to promote, encourage and further the interest of the technique of Roller Sports throughout the territorial limits of Chhattisgarh.
  2. To maintain general control over Roller Sports in Chhattisgarh through Affiliated Member Associations and to exercise such control as may be necessary in the interest of administration of the Association.
  3. To arrange for the instruction of the laws of the Roller Sports and to propagate the finer points of its technique by holding clinics from time to time in educational institutions and through public bodies which may be engaged in the work of propagation of knowledge of laws of Roller Sports.
  4. To encourage the establishment of and to regulate the activities of Associations throughout Chhattisgarh and coordinate and control their activities.
  5. To hold and administer the various Roller Sports Championships and such other skating competitions, festivals, carnivals and to lay down and publish the rules, fix dates and venue for all such contests.
  6. To participate in Roller Sports Championships and other Roller Sports meets.
